How to Black Jack Solo

Rules for Blackjack - Solo

Blackjack - Solo is a one hand blackjack game. It is played with 8 standard decks of 52 cards that are shuffled in the beginning of each game. Number cards from 2 through 10 are valued as indicated. Kings, Queens and Jacks, are equal to the value of 10 and Aces are valued at either 1 or 11. If scoring an 11 would cause the player's hand value to exceed 21 (Bust), an Ace will count as one.
The aim of the game is to beat the dealer’s hand. The dealer is dealt two cards face up and face down, and you are dealt two cards. Your cards are dealt face up, whilst only the dealer's first card is shown. You can choose an additional card by clicking HIT. You may repeat this as many times as you like, as long as the total of your cards, does not exceed 21. If the total exceeds 21, it is considered a "bust" and you automatically lose.
Once you are satisfied with the cards you are holding, click STAND. After you are finished, it is the dealer's turn to reveal his faced down card and decide whether he would like to take another card. The dealer must draw on 16 or stand on all 17’s (soft or hard) or higher scorings. If your card total is greater than the dealer's, or if the dealer busts, then you win and will get twice your original bet.
If your card total is the same as the dealer, it is considered a "push" and you will not lose your bet (you will get your original bet back).

Blackjack:

If you receive a 10-value card and an ACE card it is considered Blackjack. You win 1.5 times your bet when you are dealt a Blackjack.
(If the Dealer has a regular 21 and the player has a Blackjack, Player wins). You lose if the dealer is dealt a Blackjack. If you and the dealer are dealt a Blackjack it is considered a ‘push’ and you will get your bet back.
If the dealer’s first card is a 10 value card, he will see if it is a Blackjack and reveal it immediately.

Insurance

If the visible card of the dealer is an ACE, you have the option to place "Insurance" bet by betting an additional 0.5 times your initial bet amount.
If the dealer gets a Blackjack, the “Insurance” bet pays 2:1 and the player loses the initial bet. If the dealer does not get Blackjack, then you lose your insurance bet and the result of your initial bet is determined by the cards you hold against the dealer's cards.
When placing an Insurance side bet, the theoretical average return to player (RTP) is 92.53%.

Splitting

If you are dealt two cards of the same value, you may "split" the cards into two separate hands and double your initial bet by playing two hands, one at a time. The first hand is dealt a second card and you must decide whether you want to STAND, take another card by pressing the HIT button or DOUBLE. Once you have finished the first hand, you must move to the second, repeating the process.
If you split 2 aces, you’re only allowed to receive one card and then your hand is automatically forced to stick no matter what card you get.
Only one split is allowed.
When you split, if you receive a second card that can get you the sum of 21, it will not count as Blackjack. It will only count as 21.

Double Down

Once the DOUBLE option is selected the bet amount is automatically doubled, You may double your bet after viewing your initial two cards. You will then receive only one card and hand will automatically STAND. It is also possible to Double Down after a Split, except in the case of two aces.

10-Card Charlie

If you draw 10 cards in a single hand without going bust you automatically win, except when the dealer has Blackjack.
For example, a 10-Card Charlie hand could consist of: A, A, A, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4. A 10-Card Charlie is not applicable for a split hand.
